A covered or core-spun yarn is a system, not a single material name. The core, cover, coverage, twist or turns, finished count and intended process all shape the route and the tests that may matter.
Define the central component, sheath or surrounding fibres, coverage target and the finished application.
Record core material, cover material, turns and directions, balance and visual coverage expectation.
Connect elongation, recovery, modulus or fit concern to hosiery, knit, waistband or another stated use.
Mark each value as known, open or not applicable. A buyer-stated target remains unconfirmed until the later project record says otherwise.
A covered-yarn image does not confirm core identity, cover percentage, elongation, recovery, modulus, strength, chemical status or suitability for a named application.
